The Wilderness Chest Pack

First and foremost, I would say the customer service was excellent.
They worked at getting me a chest Rig in very short order and I have been extremely pleased with it.
One thing I did like is they ask for feedback so they can keep improving where it makes sense.

BLUF: At this price point you will be hard pressed to find a better quality chest pack with the materials used, craftmanship, and the features that come with it.
Having retired from a career in the fire service with a specialization in USAR and Wildland fire fighting I used a chest pack on multiple incidents over the years. I state this because the chest packs that we were issued were significantly more expensive than the packs that Sophroneo offers. That being said when I went looking for a chest pack that would be primarily for personal use and paid for out of my own pocket, budget was a part of the factors making my decision. So while doing my research I appreciated the price point and a lot of the features that The Wilderness Chest Pack offered. I reached out to Sophroneo via email to ask a question about the Grimloc D-Rings shown on the pack (FYI it comes with 2) and received a reply promptly in 5hrs from the owner Mr.Hoffman. He provided fantastic customer service and made it easy for me to pull the trigger on the purchase. I ordered via their website and my order was at my door in 5 days. Now my primary use case these days is for hiking with my dog. So when I received the chest pack I was itching to throw my loadout together and get on the trails(so was my dog). I have since logged close to 100 miles with the pack on in the past 2 weeks. I am amazed at the quality and features that are offered for this price point. The fabric, zippers, buckles, stitching, and workmanship have held up very well over this short use period. I have the pack loaded out with med for myself and my dog, survival tools just in case, and other snivel gear. The flag tape grommet works perfect for dog poo bags FYI. I threw a FHF Gear Bear Spray Lite holster onto the bottom of the pack to allow more options into my use of force continuum in case I stumble upon some wildlife that may be cantankerous. Inside of the pack is a hook and loop strap that is provided that will secure a firearm if needed, however I have a kydex holster that has hook and loop to allow it to easily add into this pack. The number of attachment options on the interior and exterior of this pack are fantastic. The pack rides well and moves nicely with your body when walking or running. Bottomline: Pull the trigger on the purchase, you will not be disappointed.

I use this pack for search and rescue. I think the pack is designed extremely well I especially like the front angle Molly to allow the attachment of a radio pouch and that it is laser cut material that does not absorb water or other moisture. I think the inside main pocket is well designed and think the molly laser cut velcro panel is a great asset and allows good organizational additions. The rear pocket that allows for carrying of a pistol is well thought out, however adding an additional loop at the bottom left and right corners would allow a tie down point for a trigger guard breakaway holster and that many people use on chest rigs.

Overall I thoroughly enjoy the pack and it has worked great so far I also appreciate it comes in sand not just bright orange or red. I have recommended this pack to several people and I'm looking at purchasing one for a friend as a gift. Keep up the great work and thank you
